High-porosity refractory materials

  1. LB80 Molybdenum Disilicide Hollow Bricks
  2. Compared with ordinary alumina hollow sphere bricks, they feature excellent cold modulus of rupture, with a bulk density range of 1.2–1.4 g/cm³.
  3. A special forming process creates internal voids after sintering, delivering superior thermal insulation. They offer higher strength than ceramic fiber boards and lower bulk density than standard mullite-corundum products.
  4. Key features: Resistant to deformation at high temperatures, lightweight insulation, high cold modulus of rupture.
  5. Applications: Primarily used with L-shaped molybdenum disilicide heating elements. Long-term service temperature: 1630–1650°C.
