ALMETEC (SUZHOU) CO., LTD. is a professional manufacturer of ceramic fiber products and the only leading enterprise in China producing high-temperature lightweight refractory materials. It’s a wholly foreign-owned enterprise.
I originally planned to introduce a larger sintering furnace this time, but a customer came to inquire about furnace issues, so I’ll take this opportunity to present some shortcomings and problems of domestic experimental electric furnaces. Of course, the furnaces made by ALMETEC won’t have these problems!
As shown in the figure, this is a relatively mainstream high-temperature furnace structure in China.

Local location

What do you all notice? Let’s start with a closer look. This is the hole for the silicon molybdenum rod in the furnace top. The hole on the right has visibly enlarged over time and has accumulated a considerable amount of grayish-black substance. This is due to the volatile organic compounds released during the heating process of the sintered product; this is a common problem with domestic furnaces. Looking at the furnace top, one of the two crossbeams in the middle is broken. According to the customer, it was made of corundum, and they even used silicon nitride before! Seeing this design, I really admire the courage of these customers. For the organic compound treatment and furnace design, please take a look at our furnace chamber!

Even the large furnaces do not require crossbeams for support and are all assembled structures, which are very beautiful and impressive, with a sense of layering. They also effectively treat organic matter through exhaust vents, resulting in a very long service life!
Since our furnaces are designed with reference to advanced foreign experience, many aspects cannot be described in detail here due to space limitations.
