ALCERA (SUZHOU) CO., LTD. specializes in the design, R&D and manufacturing of various new energy-saving refractory materials. Our main products are derivatives based on ceramic fibers.
Today we will mainly introduce Derivative II: Ceramic Fiber Modules. (Please refer to the figure below.)

Ceramic fiber modules are fabricated by folding or laminating ceramic fiber bulk and compressing it to a specified compression ratio, hence the name. They are also known as fiber modules. Anchors are normally embedded inside the modules, which are fastened to the furnace wall via welded bolts. Featuring simple production, easy installation and reliable performance, they are widely used for thermal insulation.

ALCERA ceramic fiber modules are classified by temperature grade and service environment into five types: 1260 modules, 1400 zircon-containing modules, 1500 FA modules, 1500 FB modules and 1600 polycrystalline modules.
For operating environments at 1200°C, 1260 modules and 1400 zircon-containing modules are commonly adopted. For temperatures above this level, higher-grade products such as 1600 polycrystalline modules are required. However, these modules are made of imported Mitsubishi polycrystalline mullite fiber from Japan, which comes at a much higher cost and puts customers in a dilemma.
To address this issue, ALCERA has developed 1500 FA and 1500 FB modules suitable for working temperatures ranging from 1200°C to 1350°C. Our products have delivered outstanding performance and contributions to the iron & steel and ceramics industries.
